The Journal of Data Forensics Research (J Data Forensics Res, JDFR) is the official academic journal of the Korean Data Forensic Society and is published twice a year (June 30 and December 31). JDFR publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and perspectives in the following areas:

• Theoretical and practical research in the field of data forensics

• Applied research with practical implications for public policy, law enforcement, and industry

• Interdisciplinary approaches involving experts from academia, government, research institutions, and the private sector

• Analyses of emerging technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and multimodal systems

• Policy proposals and the establishment of standards in data forensics

• Educational content for training the next generation of public safety and forensic professionals

• Sharing research outcomes from collaborations with domestic and international institutions in related fields
